Responsibilities
Drive a commercial vehicle along an established route to deliver and pick up facility products including uniforms, shop towels, and cleaning supplies.
Build and maintain strong professional relationships with key decision-makers across your assigned customer accounts.
Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to expand product and service usage within the existing client base.
Negotiate service agreement renewals and maintain accurate inventory controls for all customer deliveries.
Proactively troubleshoot and resolve customer service concerns to ensure high satisfaction and retention.
Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) safety regulations and company driving standards.
Qualifications
Must be at least 21 years of age with an active, valid driver's license.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Transportation (DOT) medical certification for driving vehicles weighing over 10,000 lbs.
Possession of a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent military service.
Ability to meet the physical demands of loading, unloading, and delivering heavy products in indoor and outdoor settings.
Ability to provide documentation regarding prior employment history.
Previous professional route delivery, commercial driving, or territory management experience.
Demonstrated track record in customer service, business-to-business sales, or account upselling.
Strong organizational skills and ability to work effectively in a target-driven team environment.
Work Environment
Fast-paced, physical position requiring daily indoor and outdoor delivery activities in Cumberland, MD.
Full-time first-shift schedule, with the majority of representatives working a 4-day workweek.
Standard work schedule generally requires no night or weekend shifts.
Extensive local driving and on-site customer interaction as part of an established daily route.
