Responsibilities
Lead daily store operations from the sales floor, directing staff activities and maintaining high merchandising standards.
Manage store labor planning and budgeting to align staffing levels with business volume and operational needs.
Coach, mentor, and train store associates to drive performance, support retention, and develop future leaders.
Drive sales goals by modeling effective selling behaviors and ensuring excellent customer service throughout the store.
Oversee stockroom logistics, freight flow, inventory replenishment, and standard operating procedure compliance.
Monitor store scorecards, customer satisfaction feedback, and sales metrics to implement necessary operational adjustments.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent educational background.
At least 18 years of age with the legal ability to perform essential retail functions.
Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills under pressure.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical capability to lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds, ascend ladders, and remain standing or moving for up to 80% of shifts.
Five to ten or more years of leadership and people management experience in retail or high-volume customer service environments.
Previous experience managing a full retail store or large department with full accountability for sales and labor results.
Demonstrated track record of internal career progression from assistant or co-manager roles.
Work Environment
On-site role located at the Five Below store in Tequesta, Florida.
Fast-paced, active retail store environment requiring continuous movement across the sales floor and stockroom.
Full-time schedule requiring flexibility to work opening, closing, weekend, and holiday shifts as needed.
