Responsibilities

Manage and operate SWIFT infrastructure to support the firm's payment orchestration and execution platform in the public cloud.

Collaborate with global, cross-functional product and payments engineering teams to build customer-centric cash management solutions.

Analyze existing software implementations to identify optimization opportunities and estimate timelines for feature delivery.

Establish trusted technical partnerships with peer engineers, product leads, and executive stakeholders.

Update and maintain documentation regarding team operational processes, engineering best practices, and software runbooks.

Qualifications

Advanced degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical work experience.

Minimum of 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience with SWIFT AMH, Alliance Gateway (SAG), or equivalent systems.

Proficiency with shell scripting or modern programming languages such as Python or Java.

Demonstrated experience working with version control, continuous integration, deployment, and configuration management tools in a DevOps environment.

Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Nice to Have

Prior engineering experience within financial services, FinTech, or corporate cash management.

Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services, including CloudWatch, EC2, ECS, IAM, and KMS.

Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation, as well as enterprise messaging platforms like IBM MQ.

Experience working in a Linux environment with a focus on systems engineering, high-availability architecture, network troubleshooting, and SQL databases.

Work Environment

On-site work arrangement based out of the New York, NY office.

Standard full-time schedule of approximately 40 hours per week.

Base salary range of $115,000 to $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
