Responsibilities
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols across office areas, perimeters, and parking structures to detect and deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points to verify employee, visitor, and contractor credentials in accordance with facility policies.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and emergency situations following site-specific protocols.
Provide front-line customer service and security-related assistance to all personnel and visitors on site.
Document and report security observations, incidents, and maintenance hazards through established communication channels.
Maintain readiness to perform basic emergency response and first aid procedures if critical situations arise.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification.
Minimum age of 18 years for unarmed security roles.
Ability to complete and pass standard background investigations and drug screenings.
Possession of or ability to obtain necessary state and local security guard licenses prior to employment.
Current certification and practical experience in CPR and First Aid.
Prior background operating electronic access control, badging systems, or security software.
Experience delivering customer service in corporate or technology campus environments.
Comfort and proficiency using computers, tablets, and incident reporting applications.
Work Environment
On-site work environment at a dynamic technology facility in San Francisco, California.
Part-time overnight schedule consisting of Tuesday and Wednesday shifts from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
Active physical environment requiring regular walking patrols, standing, and site monitoring across campus grounds.
