Responsibilities

Assist shoppers with locating products, offering project solutions, and providing friendly customer service throughout the sales floor.

Operate point-of-sale systems to deliver fast and accurate checkout experiences while adhering to cash-handling standards.

Promote the store Rewards program, Private Label Credit Cards, and customer satisfaction feedback surveys during customer interactions.

Process omni-channel orders including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS) fulfillment tasks.

Participate in truck unloading, freight sorting, shelf stocking, and planogram execution to keep merchandise accessible.

Perform store recovery, process merchandise returns and go-backs, and conduct Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) duties.

Cross-train and assist in custom framing production and sales while upholding company safety and loss prevention standards.

Qualifications

Must be at least 16 years of age at the time of application.

Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, nights, weekends, and seasonal peak periods.

Physical capability to stand for long periods, bend, reach, climb ladders, and lift heavy boxes.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage positively with customers and team members.

Nice to Have

Prior experience working in a retail or direct customer service environment.

Familiarity with point-of-sale systems, retail cash handling, and basic inventory restocking procedures.

An interest in arts, crafts, DIY projects, or framing production.

Work Environment

Fully on-site position based in a public retail store setting located in Stafford Township (Manahawkin), New Jersey.

Work takes place in climate-controlled retail areas as well as stockrooms and occasional outdoor environments for cart retrieval or truck unloading.

Physical work environment that involves accessing high shelves via ladders and using specialized tools such as heat presses and glass cutters in the framing area.

Shift schedules vary and require availability during early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
