In this role, you will lead the development and expansion of a comprehensive breast surgery practice within the Sutter North Medical Group. You will work within a sophisticated multidisciplinary framework, collaborating with specialists in oncology, radiology, and pathology to provide patient-centered care for the Yuba-Sutter community. This position offers you the unique opportunity to establish a dedicated breast practice while retaining the flexibility to maintain a mixed clinical profile that includes general surgery or surgical oncology if desired.
Responsibilities
- Build and grow a specialized breast surgery clinical practice within the local community.
- Collaborate with medical oncology, radiation oncology, and radiology teams to deliver integrated care plans.
- Provide compassionate, evidence-based surgical treatment for patients with breast disease.
- Utilize the Epic electronic health record system to manage patient documentation and clinical workflows.
- Partner with primary care physicians and an established referral network to expand access to specialized services.
- Maintain high standards of clinical quality and safety within a multidisciplinary breast care model.
- Participate in physician leadership and partnership initiatives within the multi-specialty medical group.
Qualifications
- Completion of a General Surgery residency followed by a dedicated Breast Surgery Fellowship.
- Board certification or eligibility in General Surgery.
- Eligibility for an unrestricted medical license in the state of California.
- Demonstrated commitment to evidence-based clinical practices and high-quality patient outcomes.
- Experience or specialized training in surgical oncology with a focus on breast care.

- Previous experience working within a large multi-specialty medical group environment.
- Strong interest in community outreach and clinical service development.
- Proficiency in utilizing advanced medical technology and modern electronic health records.

- This is an on-site, full-time position based in Yuba City, California.
