Responsibilities
Provide expert-level pharmacy consulting services and educate patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective alternatives.
Deliver direct clinical healthcare services, including the administration of immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management.
Ensure medication safety and accuracy during the compounding, dispensing, and verification processes.
Maintain regulatory compliance and meticulous records in accordance with state and federal pharmacy laws.
Mentor, train, and support pharmacy team members in a collaborative retail environment.
Resolve operational challenges related to prescription filling, inventory management, and insurance claims processing.
Qualifications
Hold a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited educational institution.
Possess an active and unrestricted pharmacist license in the state of Missouri.
Maintain certification as an immunizer, or possess the willingness to achieve certification within 90 days of hire.
Demonstrate strong knowledge of clinical medical practices, pharmacology, and regulatory compliance standards.
Bring one or more years of experience practicing as a pharmacist within a high-volume retail setting.
Possess hands-on experience navigating retail pharmacy software systems and managing third-party insurance claims.
Demonstrate a proven background in leading, coaching, and developing pharmacy support staff.
Work Environment
Work on-site at a retail pharmacy store located in Webster Groves, Missouri.
Engage directly with customers and community members in a dynamic, fast-paced service setting.
