Responsibilities
Assist retail and wholesale customers in person and over the phone by identifying their needs and recommending appropriate paint and coating products.
Process point-of-sale transactions accurately while adhering strictly to company operational policies and procedures.
Tint and mix paint products according to precise customer specifications and maintain accurate work order records.
Pull merchandise from the sales floor and warehouse, restock shelves, and maintain attractive product displays.
Load and unload delivery trucks and occasionally assist with local product deliveries as required.
Maintain warehouse and retail inventory controls to ensure stock availability and accurate inventory counts.
Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship.
Must hold a valid, unrestricted driver's license.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 70 pounds on an occasional basis, with or without accommodation.
Willingness and availability to work all scheduled store hours, including evenings and weekends.
Internal candidates must hold a rating of at least 'meets expectations' on their most recent performance appraisal and have completed all required HR training.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
At least one year of previous experience in retail, customer service, or delivery operations.
Prior experience operating tinting and mixing equipment or selling paint-related products.
Bilingual communication skills, particularly proficiency in both English and Spanish.
Work Environment
This is a fully on-site position based primarily at the Frankfort, Illinois store location.
Expect to spend approximately 20% of your working time providing operational coverage across nearby store locations in Orland Hills, New Lenox, Homer Glen, and Lockport.
Work takes place in a fast-paced retail and warehouse environment involving manual labor, material handling, and direct customer interactions.
Schedules require full-time availability (40 hours per week) covering standard operating shifts, evenings, and weekend rotations.
