In this part-time merchandising role, you will be responsible for servicing retail stores in the Waco, Texas area by managing and displaying impulse products. You will execute plan-o-grams, complete store resets, build retail displays, and hang merchandise on clip strips and J-hooks to optimize sales performance.
Responsibilities
Execute merchandising resets and construct attractive retail displays across assigned partner stores.
Implement and maintain plan-o-grams to ensure accurate product placement and brand standards.
Merchandise impulse items using fixtures such as clip strips and J-hooks.
Build and sustain positive working relationships with in-store management and retail staff.
Manage inventory placement to drive impulse purchase sales and maintain product availability.
Qualifications
Reside within 20 miles of Waco, Texas.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing and walking for 3 to 8 hours per shift and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Physical capability to perform crouching, bending, twisting, and repetitive hand movements during store visits.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with retail partners.
Solid organizational and time-management capabilities with the ability to work independently.
Nice to have
Prior experience working in retail merchandising, inventory management, or customer service.
Familiarity with reading and executing retail plan-o-grams and display schematics.
Experience using mobile devices or retail management applications for work reporting.
Work environment
Fully on-site role requiring travel between local retail store locations.
Part-time schedule consisting of approximately 22 to 25 hours per week during daytime hours.
