Responsibilities
Use operational data, employee experience signals, and service trends to anticipate where People Operations processes need improvement.
Design and scale AI-enabled knowledge management, case management, and employee lifecycle workflows.
Partner with People teams and functions such as IT, Payroll, HR M&A, and HR Business Partners to modernize HR service delivery.
Translate cross-functional needs into process maps, requirements, success metrics, procedures, and launch plans.
Lead and develop a team that uses data and AI in day-to-day operational decisions.
Measure process and automation outcomes against efficiency, cost, risk, and employee experience.
Work with HR technology teams on platform requirements, testing, data quality, controls, and change adoption.
Qualifications
At least 7 years of experience in People Operations, HR program management, operations strategy, process improvement, HR technology, or a related field, including complex cross-functional portfolio leadership.
A track record of using AI and automation to redesign operational workflows at scale in a global organization.
Strong program management skills, including prioritization, governance, dependency management, executive communication, and delivery through ambiguity.
Experience partnering with HR technology teams on requirements, testing, data quality, controls, and change adoption for Workday, Jira, or similar platforms.
Ability to connect operational metrics to investment decisions, employee experience, risk, and business outcomes, with sound judgment and discretion handling sensitive information.
Ability to use generative AI responsibly, apply human-in-the-loop practices, and demonstrate measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.
Experience using generative AI tools or copilots such as LibreChat, Gemini, or Glean in daily workflows.
Experience leading the integration of automation into established global operating processes rather than limiting work to pilots.
Strength in building operating models that balance automated, self-service, and human-supported service.
Work Environment
Remote-first role open to candidates in the United States; Coinbase is described as remote-first, but not remote-only.
The company expects quarterly in-person working sessions called “surges.”

Benefits & Perks
Annual base salary range is $185,915–$195,700 USD, excluding equity and bonus; compensation varies by location.
