Responsibilities

Study for and pass the FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 licensing examinations within the mandated program timeframes.
Cultivate and manage client relationships by conducting thorough financial reviews and recommending suitable banking and investment strategies.
Collaborate with financial center and investment partners across Bank of America and Merrill to address comprehensive client needs.
Maintain regulatory compliance and federal registration requirements, including standards under the SAFE Act.
Present consultative financial solutions and investment advice clearly to individuals, small business owners, and high-net-worth clients.
Utilize internal tools and CRM platforms to manage client portfolios, sales pipelines, and referral opportunities.

Qualifications

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent secondary education credential.
Demonstrated aptitude and commitment to study for and successfully obtain required FINRA and state licenses within strict deadlines.
Proven experience building client relationships, assessing needs, and recommending tailored solutions.
Ability to satisfy SAFE Act registration requirements and background checks without regulatory restrictions.
Strong self-discipline, time management skills, and capacity to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have
Active FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) certification upon hire.
Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field.
At least one year of experience in sales or the financial services industry.

Work Environment

Based on-site at the financial center in Orland Park, Illinois, with hybrid flexibility based on role-specific guidelines.
Standard 40-hour work week on a first-shift schedule, operating Monday through Friday with rotating Saturday shifts.
Collaborative, structured branch environment with direct coaching and mentorship provided by dedicated Academy managers.
