Responsibilities
Clean, sanitize, and deep-clean designated store areas including restrooms, breakrooms, entryways, and sales floor spaces.
Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables according to company safety and disposal guidelines.
Dust, sweep, and damp mop retail flooring using approved cleaning equipment and commercial solutions.
Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment in an orderly condition while alerting management to replenishment needs.
Assist with retail operations including cash handling, checkout, and promoting customer rewards programs.
Support omni-channel fulfillment by picking and packing Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship from Store (SFS) orders.
Participate in store inventory handling, truck unloading, and planogram stocking routines.
Qualifications
Must be at least 16 years of age.
Ability to perform physical activities including standing for extended periods, bending, reaching, and lifting heavy boxes.
Ability to safely operate store ladders and handle standard commercial cleaning chemicals.
Availability to work a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends, and early mornings.
Prior experience working in a retail or commercial cleaning environment.
Familiarity with inventory stocking, planograms, or point-of-sale checkout systems.
Strong communication and customer service skills in a public-facing setting.
Work Environment
On-site position based in a public retail store setting in Albany, New York.
Climate-controlled store floor environment with potential exposure to non-climate-controlled stockrooms and outdoor cart retrieval.
Dynamic shift schedules including early mornings, nights, and weekends.
