Responsibilities
Operate assigned cash registers to process sales transactions accurately and secure company assets.
Assist customers by answering product questions, offering recommendations, and resolving routine concerns.
Receive incoming merchandise and help unload delivery trucks in accordance with productivity standards.
Replenish inventory on shelves and maintain organized, well-recovered product displays.
Maintain store cleanliness by sweeping, mopping floors, taking out trash, and sanitizing customer restrooms.
Collaborate with store teammates and leadership to foster a safe, positive, and respectful retail environment.
Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to lift between 30 and 50 lbs from the floor to above shoulder height.
Physical stamina to handle frequent standing, walking, kneeling, climbing, pushing, and pulling during shifts.
Strong communication and customer relationship management skills.
Solid problem-solving and basic decision-making capabilities.
Proven ability to interpret operational documents and follow safety and procedural instructions.
Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent.
Previous customer service or cashiering experience in a retail, grocery, hospitality, or restaurant setting.
Work Environment
This is a fully on-site position located at the retail store in Summit, Illinois.
Work schedule is part-time, requiring physical presence on the sales floor and in the stockroom.
Daily tasks involve continuous physical labor including standing, bending, lifting, and operating cleaning equipment.
The store environment requires frequent, professional interaction with the public, team members, and supervisors.
