Responsibilities
Prepare, cook, and display food items in accordance with company food service and safety standards.
Assist store guests promptly and courteously while handling point-of-sale transactions and register duties.
Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the food preparation areas, retail displays, and general store floor.
Monitor inventory levels and restock food supplies, merchandise, and retail shelves as needed.
Adapt to changing customer traffic levels by shifting work priorities quickly during peak store hours.
Ensure all health, sanitation, and safety procedures are strictly followed throughout your shift.
Qualifications
Must be at least 16 years of age at the time of application.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with store guests and team members.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Availability to work variable shifts, including regular weekends and holidays.
Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a focus on providing helpful customer service.
Prior experience working in food service, quick-service restaurants, or retail environments.
Experience operating cash registers or point-of-sale systems.
Basic knowledge of commercial kitchen safety and food sanitation regulations.

On-site position located at the Kwik Star store in Clinton, Iowa.

Hourly pay rate ranging from $15.00 to $20.30, based on relevant skills and experience.
