Responsibilities
Operate company-provided delivery vehicles to transport automotive parts and supplies safely and punctually to commercial accounts.
Load and unload merchandise accurately according to established delivery routes and dispatch schedules.
Deliver professional customer service by addressing customer questions, providing automotive advice, and assisting with service inquiries.
Collect parts, cores, and product returns from commercial customer sites and vendor locations.
Process cash and charge payments securely in compliance with standard operating procedures.
Perform routine vehicle inspections, maintain delivery logs, and immediately report maintenance or safety concerns.
Adhere strictly to personal protective equipment standards and company fleet safety regulations.
Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of application.
Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record that meets company safety standards.
Basic knowledge of automotive parts and maintenance supplies.
Physical ability to lift, carry, load, and deliver heavy automotive merchandise regularly.
A high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
Professional bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish.
Previous retail, customer service, or logistics experience in the automotive aftermarket industry.
A valid Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) endorsement for commercial driving.
Work Environment
Fully on-site role based out of the retail store location in Stratford, Connecticut.
Regular driving in local traffic conditions using company-provided fleet vehicles.
Part-time working schedule with variable shifts that may include mornings, afternoons, and weekends.
Active work setting requiring continuous physical movement, lifting, and warehouse interaction.
