Responsibilities

Operate commercial tractor-trailer vehicles safely along assigned routes in full compliance with DOT, OSHA, and company safety standards.

Perform comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections using electronic Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (eDVIR) systems.

Communicate route progress, blocked containers, safety hazards, and customer requests directly to operations managers and dispatch.

Position and completely dump collection containers, ensuring customer properties remain clean, undamaged, and free of debris.

Collaborate with dispatch and operational leadership to identify unsafe accounts and improve overall route efficiency.

Complete all required end-of-day documentation, logs, and route check-in procedures accurately.

Qualifications

Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).

At least one year of experience operating a vehicle requiring a CDL, or one year of equivalent military driving experience within the last seven years.

Minimum age of 18 years and legal authorization to work in the United States.

Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English to interpret road signs, complete operational reports, and communicate with the public.

Ability to successfully pass pre-employment screenings, including a DOT physical exam and drug screening.

Nice to Have

High school diploma or accredited GED equivalent.

Prior experience operating heavy-duty natural gas vehicles.

Possession of a REAL ID or TSA-approved equivalent for potential travel or access to federal facilities.

Work Environment

Fully on-site driving and collection role based out of Humble, Texas.

Standard work schedule starting at 4:00 AM, Monday through Friday, comprising approximately 40 hours per week.

Work performed in variable outdoor conditions including heat, humidity, and inclement weather, as well as indoor shop or garage environments.

Physical demands require frequent standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, and sitting throughout the shift.
