Maintenance and Construction Manager

Overview

In this role, you will lead the strategic oversight and hands-on execution of property maintenance and construction projects for a diverse commercial portfolio. Reporting to the Director of Real Estate Management and Development, you will be responsible for ensuring that retail stores, office spaces, and distribution centers remain in peak operational and aesthetic condition while managing both routine tasks and significant capital projects.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular property inspections to ensure all facilities meet operational, aesthetic, and safety standards.
• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of construction and renovation projects, including new store openings and remodels.
• Oversee a network of third-party vendors and contractors to ensure quality workmanship and timely project completion.
• Develop and maintain a preventive maintenance calendar for critical systems such as HVAC and electrical units.
• Direct the centralized work order system to prioritize and triage maintenance requests across multiple locations.
