Responsibilities
Deliver personalized beauty consultations, product demonstrations, and skincare or makeup applications tailored to individual customer needs.
Meet and exceed daily and weekly sales goals by recommending products and introducing customers to new launches.
Cultivate a loyal client base by leveraging digital clienteling tools, conducting virtual outreach, and following up on purchases.
Enroll customers in brand loyalty programs and assist qualified shoppers in opening store credit accounts.
Operate point-of-sale registers and digital tools efficiently to process customer transactions accurately.
Maintain counter hygiene, organize product displays, update pricing signage, and assist with merchandise stock moves.
Collaborate with team members to support a welcoming, inclusive store environment and achieve collective store metrics.
Qualifications
At least one year of previous experience in retail sales or customer service.
Ability to communicate effectively in English, including reading safety procedures and employment policies.
Flexible availability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays with consistent punctuality.
Physical ability to stand continuously for at least two hours, crouch, kneel, climb ladders, and lift up to 25 pounds.
Proficiency with register technology, handheld devices, and basic digital store tools.
Prior specialized retail experience within cosmetics, skincare, or beauty artistry.
Demonstrated background in clienteling and managing a repeat customer book of business.
Strong knowledge of MAC cosmetics lines and current beauty industry trends.
Work Environment
Fully on-site retail position based at the store location in Columbus, Ohio.
Fast-paced, customer-facing environment requiring high energy, continuous movement, and collaboration with teammates.
Full-time schedule requiring 30 or more hours per week, with shifts regularly encompassing weekends and peak holiday periods.
Requires close vision, color differentiation, and depth perception to perform makeup applications and product consultations.
