Responsibilities
Design and develop machine learning models and algorithms to extract actionable insights from large datasets.
Conduct data analyses to support ongoing business initiatives and solve complex operational challenges.
Consult with senior data scientists to select, implement, and interpret advanced analytical methodologies.
Communicate analytical findings, project updates, and strategic recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Collaborate across business units to incorporate domain-specific context into analytical solutions.
Stay current with emerging industry trends, data science methodologies, and analytical tools.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent practical experience.
Foundational knowledge of predictive modeling, data mining, and core statistical techniques.
Familiarity with modern scripting languages such as Python for data analysis.
Ability to write database queries using SQL or Google BigQuery.
Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
Master's degree in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics.
Three or more years of experience working with business intelligence and data analytics.
Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau and advanced reporting in Microsoft Excel.
Exposure to prescriptive modeling techniques including optimization, natural language processing, computer vision, or recommendation systems.
Work Environment
Remote work arrangement available within eligible United States locations.
Virtual role with hiring restrictions in selected states including Alabama, Florida, and North Carolina.
Full-time standard 40-hour work week with no travel required.
Collaborative and learning-oriented team environment centered around mentorship from senior data scientists.
Benefits & Perks
Base salary range between $70,000 and $130,000 depending on location and experience.
