Responsibilities
Assist with daily retail operations, including opening and closing store procedures and securing company assets.
Deliver positive, approachable customer service and resolve shopper inquiries and concerns.
Supervise, train, and support the development of store associates alongside the Store Manager.
Receive, organize, and transfer merchandise from delivery trucks to the stockroom and sales floor.
Execute administrative tasks including scheduling, payroll record keeping, and cash register deposit processing.
Maintain store cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, taking out trash, and organizing stock areas to company standards.
Qualifications
Ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives and merchandise schematics.
Physical capability to lift up to 55 pounds from the floor to above shoulder height.
Physical stamina for frequent standing, walking, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making capabilities in a fast-paced environment.
High school diploma or equivalent general education credential.
Previous supervisory or management experience in a retail, grocery, or drug store environment.
Experience with point-of-sale systems, cash handling, and inventory loss prevention.
Work Environment
Fully on-site role located at the retail store in Fulton, New York.
Part-time schedule requiring flexibility for various shifts including opening and closing hours.
