Physician, Breast Surgery (Yuba City, CA)

Overview

In this role, you will lead the development and expansion of a comprehensive breast surgery practice within the Sutter North Medical Group. You will work within a sophisticated multidisciplinary framework, collaborating with specialists in oncology, radiology, and pathology to provide patient-centered care for the Yuba-Sutter community. This position offers you the unique opportunity to establish a dedicated breast practice while retaining the flexibility to maintain a mixed clinical profile that includes general surgery or surgical oncology if desired.

Responsibilities

• Build and grow a specialized breast surgery clinical practice within the local community.
• Collaborate with medical oncology, radiation oncology, and radiology teams to deliver integrated care plans.
• Provide compassionate, evidence-based surgical treatment for patients with breast disease.
• Utilize the Epic electronic health record system to manage patient documentation and clinical workflows.
• Partner with primary care physicians and an established referral network to expand access to specialized services.
