Overview

In this high-impact executive role, you will lead the Black Community Developers Group (BCDG) through a critical phase of organizational growth and national expansion. Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, you will be responsible for translating a long-term strategic plan into actionable results, ensuring that the organization scales its infrastructure and influence effectively within the nonprofit sector.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of the Board-approved Strategic Plan and translate high-level goals into measurable outcomes.
• Drive national membership growth by articulating a clear value proposition and delivering tangible benefits to Black-led organizations.
• Execute comprehensive fundraising strategies across foundations, government agencies, and corporate partners to diversify revenue.
• Act as the primary national spokesperson to advocate for policy changes that protect cultural neighborhoods and community stability.
• Oversee the development of national workforce and internship programs to create a sector-wide talent pipeline.
