As the Senior Manager for Federal Affairs, you will serve as a key advocate for the architectural profession, representing interests before Congress and the Executive Branch. Reporting to the Senior Director, you will manage federal lobbying efforts, research legislative impacts, and help shape the organization's policy priorities regarding the built environment, sustainability, and equity.
Responsibilities
- Lead federal lobbying and outreach efforts to Members of Congress and Executive Branch officials.
- Manage the Government Advocacy Committee to ensure policy positions align with member needs.
- Coordinate the annual Hill Day and other advocacy events to facilitate direct member engagement with policymakers.
- Draft proposed legislation, regulatory comments, and formal policy statements for the organization.
- Oversee the ArchiPAC political giving strategy and ensure compliance with federal ethics and campaign laws.
