Prep Cook

Overview

In this role, you will be a vital member of the kitchen team, ensuring the smooth flow of food service by maintaining a highly organized and efficient prep area. You will work within a fast-paced environment where you are responsible for the quality and safety of ingredients that form the foundation of the menu, all while adhering to established customer service standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all menu items according to established recipes and line procedures.
• Maintain daily and weekly cleaning checklists to ensure a sanitary kitchen environment.
• Manage food logs and maintain accurate par levels for all prepped ingredients.
• Apply First In, First Out (FIFO) procedures to guarantee food freshness and safety.
• Execute precise knife handling skills for various food preparation tasks.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure prompt and hospitable guest service.
