Responsibilities
- Direct all daily operations and maintenance activities for utility-scale wind turbine fleets.
- Analyze performance metrics and SCADA data to identify and resolve energy production inefficiencies.
- Manage operational budgets including procurement of spare parts and negotiation of service contracts.
- Ensure total compliance with federal, state, and local safety and environmental regulations.
- Supervise on-site technical teams and external contractors during scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
- Develop long-term asset management strategies to extend the lifespan of wind farm infrastructure.
- Coordinate with electrical grid operators to manage power curtailment and interconnection requirements.
Qualifications
- A bachelor degree in engineering, renewable energy management, or a related technical field is standard.
- At least five years of experience in power plant operations or industrial facility management is required.
- Deep knowledge of wind turbine technology and supervisory control and data acquisition systems is essential.
- Certification in industrial safety standards such as OSHA or GWO is a mandatory requirement.
- Demonstrated experience in budget management and large-scale project scheduling is necessary.

- A Master of Business Administration or a graduate degree in Engineering Management is highly valued.
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure provides a significant advantage in technical oversight roles.
- Experience with predictive maintenance software and advanced data analytics tools is preferred.
