Qualifications
- Completion of a high school diploma or an equivalent vocational training program in metalwork.
- Attainment of a welding certification from a recognized body such as the American Welding Society.
- Proficiency in various welding processes including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques.
- Experience reading and interpreting industrial blueprints and mathematical schematics.
- Ability to operate heavy machinery such as overhead cranes and industrial forklifts safely.
- Demonstrated knowledge of metallurgy and the properties of different metal alloys.
