- Manage the setup and breakdown of decor and rental equipment according to the established floor plan.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all vendors to resolve questions and logistical hurdles without involving the clients.
- Execute the minute-by-minute timeline for the ceremony and reception to keep the event on schedule.
- Identify and resolve immediate issues such as inclement weather transitions or technical malfunctions in audio equipment.
- Coordinate the final payment and distribution of gratuities to service providers at the conclusion of the event.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in hospitality, event planning, or project management.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex schedules and multi-vendor environments under high pressure.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for negotiating with diverse service providers.
- Proven track record of conflict resolution and crisis management in live event settings.
- Ability to stand and remain physically active for periods exceeding twelve hours.
- Strong understanding of event logistics including catering standards, floral handling, and audiovisual requirements.
