Responsibilities

- Maintain and calibrate specialized equipment including sprayers, traps, and GPS mapping tools.

- Educate the public on preventative measures to reduce vector habitats on private property.
- Document all field activities and chemical applications to ensure compliance with state and federal laws.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in biology, environmental science, or a closely related field.
- State-issued pesticide applicator license or certification in vector control.
- Valid drivers license and the ability to operate specialized field vehicles.
- Proficiency in using Geographic Information Systems for field mapping and data entry.
- Experience in identifying local insect species and understanding their life cycles.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various outdoor environments.
