Responsibilities

- Develop custom scripts and middleware to handle complex file formats and metadata transformation.
- Establish technical standards for internationalization to ensure codebases support global character sets and regional formatting.
- Monitor workflow performance metrics to identify bottlenecks in the translation and engineering handoff process.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate localization checks into continuous deployment and integration environments.
- Provide technical support and training to internal stakeholders and external language service providers regarding tooling.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience managing industry-standard Translation Management Systems such as Memsource, Phrase, or Smartling.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language, such as Python or Ruby, for automation and data manipulation.
- In-depth knowledge of localization file formats including XLIFF, JSON, YAML, and XML.
- Proven experience with version control systems like Git and cloud-based repository hosting services.
- Understanding of internationalization (i18n) and localization (l10n) best practices in software development.

- Professional certification in Localization Project Management or Globalization.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitHub Actions.
