- Program and configure Programmable Logic Controllers and Human-Machine Interface software.
- Perform regular maintenance and security patches on industrial control system networks and hardware.
- Analyze real-time data and system logs to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks or equipment failures.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate new sensors, pumps, or machinery into existing control frameworks.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including wiring diagrams and system logic flowcharts.
- Ensure compliance with industry safety standards and cybersecurity protocols for critical infrastructure.
Qualifications
- A bachelor degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related technical field is required.
- Extensive experience with industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, DNP3, and BacNet is essential.
- Proficiency in programming languages used in industrial automation, including Ladder Logic and Function Block Diagram.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, VPNs, and industrial firewalls.
- Minimum of five years of experience working directly with industrial control systems in a professional capacity.

- Professional certification such as a Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP) credential.
- Prior experience specifically within water treatment or wastewater management operations.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL database management for historical data logging and reporting.
