Overview
The Release Train Engineer operates at the intersection of program management and team coaching, focusing on the health and efficiency of the Agile Release Train. Daily activities involve facilitating large-scale planning events, analyzing program-level metrics, and coaching leaders and teams in lean-agile practices. Responsibilities
- Facilitate the Program Increment planning event to establish a shared vision and mission for all teams.
- Manage and optimize the flow of value through the program using various visualization and tracking tools.
- Escalate and track impediments that exceed the capacity of individual teams to resolve.
- Coordinate with Product Management and System Architects to ensure alignment on strategy and execution.
