Responsibilities

- Monitor changes in global regulations and communicate potential impacts to internal product development teams.
- Coordinate with quality assurance departments to maintain compliance with ISO 13485 and other quality system regulations.
- Act as the primary liaison between the organization and national health authorities during audits and inspections.
- Evaluate product design changes to determine the necessity of new regulatory submissions or notifications.
- Maintain internal databases of regulatory history and product registrations across various international markets.
Qualifications
- A bachelor degree in a scientific or engineering discipline such as biology, chemistry, or biomedical engineering.
- Significant experience working within the medical device or diagnostic manufacturing industry.
- Deep knowledge of local and international regulatory frameworks such as the FDA Quality System Regulation or EU Medical Device Regulation.
- Demonstrated expertise in technical writing and the assembly of complex scientific dossiers.
- Strong analytical skills used to interpret scientific data and legal requirements concurrently.
Nice to have
- Regulatory Affairs Certification (RAC) from the Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society.
- An advanced degree such as a Master of Science or a Juris Doctor specializing in health law.
