- Prepare investment committee memos that summarize the investment thesis, risk factors, and projected returns.
- Monitor the financial performance of portfolio companies and assist their management teams with strategic initiatives.
- Source new investment opportunities by maintaining relationships with investment bankers and industry experts.
- Develop exit strategies for investments including initial public offerings or sales to strategic buyers.
- Review monthly and quarterly reporting packages to track progress against the initial investment underwriting.
Qualifications
- A bachelor degree in finance, economics, or a related quantitative field from a leading university.
- Two to four years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, or a similar high-intensity financial role.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for complex financial modeling and data manipulation.
- Deep understanding of corporate finance, accounting principles, and the mechanics of debt and equity instruments.
