- Ensure compliance with North American Electric Reliability Corporation and other regional regulatory standards.
- Document all trade entries and risk positions accurately within the energy management system.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in mathematics, economics, engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Extensive knowledge of regional transmission organization market rules and protocols.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as Python or SQL.
- Strong understanding of energy derivatives, spark spreads, and financial risk management.
- Demonstrated ability to perform complex mental arithmetic and logical reasoning under time pressure.
- Valid certification or registration as required by local energy regulatory authorities.
