Responsibilities
- Select and source compatible high-performance hardware components based on specific client performance requirements and budget constraints.
- Execute the physical assembly of computer systems including motherboard seating, CPU installation, and cable routing.
- Design and install custom open-loop liquid cooling systems using hard or soft tubing and various radiator configurations.
- Perform BIOS updates and configure firmware settings to optimize system stability and hardware communication.
- Conduct extensive stress testing and benchmarking to ensure components operate within safe thermal and voltage parameters.
- Apply aesthetic modifications such as custom lighting, vinyl wrapping, or sandblasting to computer cases.
- Provide technical support and hardware maintenance services for existing custom builds.
Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of current CPU architectures, GPU specifications, and motherboard chipset compatibility.
- Proficiency in manual assembly techniques including the use of precision hand tools and antistatic equipment.
- Demonstrated experience in installing and leak-testing custom liquid cooling loops.
- Technical ability to navigate BIOS/UEFI interfaces and perform manual overclocking or undervolting.
- Foundational understanding of electrical safety and power supply efficiency ratings.
