- Manage anticoagulation therapies and titrate cardiac medications based on patient response and lab results.
- Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams including cardiac surgeons, primary care providers, and pharmacists.
- Educate patients and families on heart-healthy lifestyle changes and disease progression.
- Perform minor clinical procedures such as device interrogations or suture removal as required.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant Program with a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies.
- Current board certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
- Valid state medical license to practice as a Physician Assistant.
- Controlled Substance Registration and DEA certification for prescribing privileges.
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification.
- Minimum of two years of clinical experience in a cardiovascular or internal medicine setting.
