Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the annual master calendar for rehearsals, concerts, and recording sessions.
- Negotiate and oversee contracts with performance venues, equipment suppliers, and transport providers.
- Liaise with artist management to coordinate travel and hospitality requirements for guest conductors and soloists.
- Ensure compliance with collective bargaining agreements and manage relations with the musicians union.
- Oversee the movement of instruments and production equipment for domestic and international tours.
- Manage the operations department budget including financial reporting and cost control measures.
- Supervise the stage management team and technical staff during rehearsals and live performances.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in performing arts management or high-level event production.
- Deep knowledge of orchestral operations including stage requirements and instrument transport.
- Proven experience in labor relations and the administration of unionized environments.
- Demonstrated proficiency in project management and scheduling software.
- Excellent negotiation skills for vendor and venue contracting.
- Bachelor degree in arts administration, music business, or a related field.
