Operator-in-Residence (Venture Studio)

Overview

Responsibilities

• Execute the initial business plan and go-to-market strategy for new portfolio companies.
• Recruit and manage the founding team members including engineers, designers, and marketers.
• Develop and refine the minimum viable product based on market feedback and studio resources.
• Establish the legal, financial, and operational frameworks required for independent company operation.
• Manage the profit and loss statements and budget allocations provided by the venture studio.
• Pitch the venture to external investors to secure follow-on seed or Series A financing.
• Transition leadership duties to a permanent CEO or executive team once the startup matures.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in senior leadership roles at high-growth technology startups or scale-ups.
• Proven track record of building and managing cross-functional teams from the ground up.
• Deep understanding of agile product development and lean startup methodologies.
• Strong financial literacy with experience managing budgets and early-stage capital allocation.
• Exceptional communication skills for stakeholder management and investor relations.
• A bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field of study.
