Operations Turnaround Specialist

Overview

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive audits of existing business processes to identify bottlenecks and financial leakages.
• Develop and implement 90-day stabilization plans to address immediate operational risks.
• Negotiate with vendors and creditors to restructure unfavorable contracts or debt obligations.
• Redesign internal workflows and organizational structures to increase output and reduce overhead costs.
• Monitor key performance indicators to track the progress of turnaround initiatives against established benchmarks.
• Communicate restructuring progress and financial forecasts to boards of directors and investors.
• Manage the transition of leadership and operational ownership back to permanent management teams.

Qualifications

• A minimum of ten years of experience in operations management or corporate restructuring.
• An advanced degree in business administration, finance, or a related quantitative field.
• Demonstrated expertise in Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and the use of enterprise resource planning software.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale organizational change or corporate pivots.
• Strong command of crisis management techniques and conflict resolution strategies.

• Professional certification as a Certified Turnaround Professional or similar credential.
• Experience working within private equity or venture capital portfolio companies.
