responsibilities

Perform routine preventative maintenance on turbine generators, gearboxes, and hydraulic systems.

Troubleshoot electrical control systems and fiber optic communication networks located within the tower.

Inspect exterior turbine blades for erosion or lightning damage using rope access techniques or drones.

Replace heavy mechanical components using internal hoists and external vessel-mounted cranes.

Document all maintenance activities and safety compliance data in centralized asset management systems.

Coordinate with vessel crews and helicopter pilots for safe transit and hoisting operations.

Monitor real-time turbine performance data to identify and address mechanical anomalies.

qualificationsRequired

Completion of a recognized technical degree or vocational certification in wind energy technology or electrical engineering.

Global Wind Organisation (GWO) Basic Safety Training certification including sea survival and manual handling.
