- Configure battery management systems and inverter-charger setups for off-grid power autonomy.
- Liaise with vessel owners to define project scopes and provide accurate cost estimates for upgrades.
- Ensure all installations comply with American Boat and Yacht Council standards and safety regulations.
- Perform routine maintenance on bonding systems to prevent galvanic corrosion of hull hardware.
Qualifications
- ABYC Marine Electrical Certification is mandatory for professional recognition in the industry.
- Demonstrated experience in reading and creating complex electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Proficiency with specialized hand tools for marine-grade terminal crimping and wire stripping.
- Active drivers license and a reliable vehicle capable of transporting tools and components to various sites.
- Deep knowledge of NMEA 2000 and NMEA 0183 networking protocols for marine electronics.
