Responsibilities

- Conduct time and motion studies to identify inefficiencies in manual and automated assembly processes.
- Evaluate and recommend specialized machinery or tooling investments to improve production speed.
- Create detailed plant layouts that optimize the flow of materials and minimize transport distances.
- Collaborate with design engineers to ensure new products are optimized for manufacturability.
- Monitor production metrics and implement corrective actions for quality deviations or delays.
- Manage the transition of production lines during facility upgrades or product changeovers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in industrial, mechanical, or manufacturing engineering.
- Proven experience with Computer-Aided Design software for facility and process modeling.
- Deep understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Strong technical knowledge of machining, assembly, and industrial automation systems.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret complex engineering specifications and technical blueprints.
- Experience managing capital expenditure projects within a manufacturing budget.
Nice to have
- Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt certification.
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning software such as SAP or Oracle.
- Master of Business Administration or a Master degree in Engineering Management.
- Knowledge of Robotics Process Automation and Industrial Internet of Things technologies.
