Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end technical solutions for Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence instances.
- Develop custom scripts using Groovy or similar languages to automate complex business logic and data migrations.
- Configure security frameworks including project roles, permission schemes, and issue security levels.
- Evaluate and integrate third-party marketplace applications to extend core platform functionality.
- Establish governance policies and best practices for global system administration and performance optimization.
- Lead technical upgrades and platform migrations between Cloud, Data Center, and Server environments.
- Audit system usage and performance metrics to identify opportunities for process improvement.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in Atlassian system administration and enterprise architecture.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Groovy, Python, or JavaScript for automation.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and database management for reporting and data integrity.
- Atlassian Certified Professional (ACP) certifications in Jira Administration or System Administration.
- Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale data migrations and system integrations.
- Strong understanding of Agile and ITIL frameworks within a corporate environment.
Nice to have
- Experience with cloud infrastructure providers such as AWS or Azure.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines to integrate Jira into the development lifecycle.
