Overview

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive financial and operational audits to identify the root causes of business distress.
• Develop and execute detailed turnaround plans that prioritize immediate cash flow stabilization and debt restructuring.
• Negotiate with banks, institutional investors, and creditors to secure bridge financing or debt forbearances.
• Evaluate the performance of existing senior management teams and recommend necessary personnel changes.
• Oversee the liquidation of non-core assets or the closure of unprofitable business units to preserve capital.
• Implement rigorous expense controls and streamline operational processes to improve margins.
• Report progress regularly to the board of directors and external stakeholders to maintain transparency and trust.

Qualifications

• A minimum of fifteen years of experience in senior leadership or executive management within complex organizations.
• Extensive expertise in financial modeling, corporate finance, and bankruptcy or insolvency law.
• Proven track record of successfully leading at least two significant corporate restructuring or turnaround projects.
• Advanced degree in business administration, finance, or a related quantitative field.
• Strong proficiency in interpreting complex profit and loss statements and balance sheets under time constraints.

Nice to have

• Certified Turnaround Professional (CTP) or similar professional accreditation from a recognized industry body.
• Background in private equity operations or management consulting with a focus on distressed assets.
• Experience managing cross-border restructurings involving multiple legal and regulatory jurisdictions.

Work environment

• Frequent travel to client sites is required, often involving full-time residence near the company headquarters for the project duration.
