- Identify and mentor internal successors to ensure long-term stability after the interim period concludes.
- Communicate progress reports to boards of directors or private equity stakeholders regularly.
- Oversee the implementation of new clinical or administrative technologies to modernize aging infrastructure.
Qualifications
- A Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field is mandatory.
- Ten or more years of senior-level management experience within the healthcare sector is required.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial restructuring and profit and loss management must be evident.
- A proven track record of successfully managing large-scale organizational change is essential.
- Certification in healthcare management, such as FACHE status, is often required by hiring boards.
Nice to have
- Previous experience working with private equity-backed healthcare firms provides a competitive advantage.
