Ensures industrial control systems and automation work safely and efficiently through rigorous testing and calibration.

Responsibilities
- Perform functional testing of all instrumentation and control loops to verify system integrity.
- Calibrate pressure, temperature, flow, and level transmitters according to engineering specifications.
- Execute Point-to-Point wiring checks between field devices and control room interfaces.
- Document all testing results and calibration certificates to meet regulatory and safety requirements.
- Collaborate with software engineers to troubleshoot logic errors within the Distributed Control System.
- Coordinate with safety teams to conduct final inspections and safety instrumented system proof tests.
- Manage the handover of operational manuals and technical data to the facility maintenance team.
Qualifications
- A bachelor degree in electrical, mechanical, or instrumentation engineering or equivalent technical certification.
- Extensive experience with Programmable Logic Controllers and Distributed Control Systems.
- Demonstrated proficiency in reading Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams and electrical schematics.
- Advanced knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, Foundation Fieldbus, or HART.
- Proven experience in a commissioning or maintenance role within a heavy industrial environment.
Nice to have
- Professional Engineer licensure or specific industry certifications in functional safety.
- Advanced proficiency in specialized calibration software and digital asset management tools.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary teams during the startup phase of major capital projects.
