Responsibilities
- Identify and acquire land or distressed assets suitable for hotel and resort development projects.
- Develop comprehensive financial feasibility models and pro-formas to secure institutional investment and debt.
- Navigate municipal planning commissions and zoning boards to obtain necessary land-use entitlements and permits.
- Select and manage the design team including architects, interior designers, and landscape consultants.
- Oversee the general contractor and construction process to ensure delivery remains on schedule and within budget.
- Collaborate with hospitality brand operators to ensure the physical asset meets specific brand standards.
- Direct the pre-opening marketing and operational handoff strategies to ensure a successful property launch.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, architecture, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of seven to ten years of experience in commercial real estate development or investment.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and real estate valuation techniques.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale capital projects from inception to completion.
- Deep understanding of local building codes, environmental regulations, and land-use laws.

- A Master of Business Administration or a Master of Science in Real Estate Development.
