Responsibilities
- Investigate and resolve complex technical issues escalated from the Tier 1 support team.
- Configure and deploy workstations, laptops, and peripheral devices following organizational security standards.
- Manage user accounts and permissions through directory services like Active Directory or Azure AD.
- Document all troubleshooting steps and solutions within the company ticketing system to maintain a knowledge base.
- Identify and report recurring technical trends to management to assist in long-term infrastructure improvements.
- Assist in the maintenance of local network infrastructure including switches, access points, and VPN configurations.
- Perform software installations and patch management across a wide variety of enterprise platforms.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related technical field.
- Minimum of three years experience in a professional IT support or help desk environment.
- Professional certification such as CompTIA A+ or Network+ to demonstrate core technical competency.
- Strong proficiency in troubleshooting Windows and macOS operating systems in an enterprise context.
- Demonstrated experience with ticket management systems and remote support tools.
- Basic understanding of networking protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
Nice to have
- Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or similar vendor-specific certification.
- Experience with PowerShell or other scripting languages for automating routine administrative tasks.
- Prior experience working within an ITIL-aligned service management framework.
