Responsibilities
- Analyze patient satisfaction surveys and Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems scores to identify performance gaps.
- Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for clinical and non-clinical staff regarding communication and service standards.
- Lead the grievance and complaint management process to ensure timely resolution and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with department heads to redesign clinical workflows that improve the overall patient experience.
- Facilitate patient and family advisory councils to integrate the patient voice into hospital decision-making.
- Monitor and report on patient experience metrics to the executive leadership team on a regular basis.
- Conduct regular rounds in patient care areas to identify immediate service issues and provide real-time coaching to staff.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business management, or a related field.
- Minimum of five years of experience in healthcare operations or patient relations leadership.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis software and patient feedback platforms.
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and patient rights frameworks.
- Proven experience in conflict resolution and mediation within a professional setting.
Nice to have
- Certified Patient Experience Professional (CPXP) designation.
- A master's degree in healthcare administration or public health.
