Responsibilities
- Conduct financial modeling to assess the viability and valuation of potential investment targets.
- Perform comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends and competitive landscapes.
- Manage the due diligence process by reviewing legal documents, customer contracts, and audit reports.
- Source new investment opportunities through industry networking and outbound outreach to company founders.
- Prepare investment memorandums and present findings to the fund's investment committee.
- Monitor the financial performance and operational KPIs of existing portfolio companies.
- Assist in the execution of exit strategies, including initial public offerings or strategic sales.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related quantitative field.
- Extensive experience with Excel-based financial modeling, including leveraged buyout and discounted cash flow analysis.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and corporate finance fundamentals.
- Prior experience in investment banking, management consulting, or a similar high-stakes financial environment.
- Demonstrated ability to perform primary research and synthesize data from disparate sources.
